Over the next couple of months PCSO ROBERTSON is focusing on PARKING ISSUES around the community. Patrols are happening on the roads that have been alerted to him via either 101 reports or the RESIDENTS VOICE.
The roads that are being patrolled at present are :
LEFTWICH :
Granville Road , Old Hall Road (SCHOOL PARKING)
Priory Ave
KINGSMEAD :
Dukes Way , Monarch Drive , Regal Close , Buckingham Drive , Calveley Close (SCHOOL PARKING)
Sandbach Drive
King Edward Close
DAVENHAM :
Mount Pleasant Road, Charles Avenue , Allen Drive (SCHOOL PARKING)
Hartford Road
London Road
MOULTON :
Main Road
The MINI POLICE will also be focusing on Parking as well over the next few weeks.
Please park in a safe manner which does not obstruct anyone. Any issues that are witnessed will be given a FIXED PENALTY NOTICE for causing UNNECESSARY OBSTRUCTIONS. Therefore please :
- don't park too close to junctions
- don't park on double yellows
- don't park or stop on SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR areas
- don't double park
- don't park too much on a footpath that causes an obstruction to footpath users (there should be enough room for a pram / wheelchair user to get past) *However this will be looked at on road by road basis
- don't park on bends
- don't park across footpath crossings
- don't park on cycle lanes
